Barça Lassa are Bauhaus Asobal Champions

The blaugranes claim their 23rd victory in the league competition and win six in a row for the very first time. Barça Lassa are Bauhaus Asobal Champions for 2015/16. The 29:28 defeat for Naturhouse La Rioja away at Ademar de León means the blaugranes are league title winners with five games still remaining.

With this latest triumph, FC Barcelona now have 23 league titles in their possession. With Xavi Pascual as coach the team have won the last six league championships, the run starting in 2011 and culminating with this most recent success in 2016. Only Granollers back in the late 1950's and early 1960's had ever previously managed this achievement.

Barça claimed their first league title back in 1969 and since the creation of the Asobal League they have won in 15 of the 26 seasons played.
