Timothey N’Guessan to play for three seasons at FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona and French club Chambéry have reached an agreement for the transfer of 23-year-old left-back Timothey N'Guessan to the Catalan club for three years from the start of the 2016/17 season. Timothey N'Guessan was born in Massy (France) on 18 September 1992.

He started out at Dieppe UC from 2003 to 2008, after which he joined SMV Porte Normande and three years later switched to his current club Chambéry. The French international has a powerful throw and scores regularly, with an average of 5.5 a game in the French league this term. N'Guessan featured for his country at the World Championship in 2013 and has scored 35 goals in his 20 international games.
