The FC Barcelona handball team recorded another victory in the Asobal League, their 22nd of the current campaign, to round off a fantastic week for Xavi Pascual's outfit after eliminating Aalborg in the last 16 of this season's Champions League. Against a Bada Huesca side who found themselves in the bottom half of the table, Barça were always in control and 10 goals from Sigurdsson and six strikes from Noddesbo sent the blaugranes on their way to victory. In the first half Sigurdsson and Victor Tomás in attack gave the blaugranes a great start to the game and a fantastic finish from Gurbindo gave Barça a lead of 15:5 with 17 minutes gone. Nevertheless, keeper Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas had to work hard to give the blaugranes a 26:11 lead at half time. In the second half Barça were able to maintain their lead, thanks in a large part to goalkeeper Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas.Coach Xavi Pascual decided to move his bench; Saric came on to replace Pérez de Vargas and youngster Víctor Sáez came on to score three goals on his debut in what in the end turned out to be a comfortable win for the blaugranes.
