FC Barcelona won at the Globalcaja Ciudad Encantada in Cuenca to take their winning streak to a massive 51 games. But at least early in the game, this was no walk in the park against a side that are always strong at home and led 6:4 after five minutes. But Barça pulled back to 7:7 and by the end of the first half were comfortably poised at 13:19. Despite the close start, the second half quickly became a mere formality as the Catalans pushed on to lead 27:39, the biggest difference of the game. The most positive note of all was the league debut of reserve team keeper Fran Revuelta. The 19 year old has already played cup games for the first team and came on for the last four minutes of this Asobal match. He performed solidly on the two occasions his services were required.
