Good traditions with Russia, bad with Scandinavian
Tradition says that with half of the rivals from Group B in Seville Macedonia have a negative balance. Scandinavian handball its every time difficult for us, but there are exceptions that show that we have quality to defeat the complex. With Denmark the balance is two defeats in as many official matches.
In our history we have 10 times Iceland as a rival. In the official matches Macedonia has two wins, against eight for Iceland. In five play-off matches, Macedonia celebrated once, and Iceland four times. With Russia, the balance is positive. With one win and one draw, proudly we can say that we never lost with Russia. Against Chile and Qatar in Andalusia we sill play for the first time in an official match.
