FC Barcelona Lassa - Silkeborg 34:19 (18:10)

FC Barcelona Lassa handball earned a commanding victory over Silkeborg to remain top of Group A of the VELUX EHF Champions League (34:19) on Sunday evening. The match began at an intense pace, with Bredsdorff-Larsen's side taking a 1:3 lead within the first five minutes. It seemed to give Barça the wake-up call they needed, as the hosts turned the game around convincingly to go into the break 18:10 ahead.

Lasse Andersson ended the first period with five goals to his name, in what was a terrific display from the Danish star.
Barça also had keeper Pérez de Vargas to thank for some important stops at the start of the second half, including a penalty. With Silkeborg without a goalie of their own, Víctor Tomás and Viran Morros scored from the halfway line to give the team a 13-goal lead.

Lazarov scored the most goals on the evening, with seven to his name, as Barça closed the game out 34:19.
